Medium Works Okay

It’s been more than 2 years that medium started subscription and a means for writers to earn.

And despite most people in unsupported Stripe countries have said — use paypal too, you guys ignored us.

So, it’s still a privilege to write on Medium. Because unless you lock your stories, it doesn’t get wider reach. Which beats the purpose. And many people from unsupported countries are still hoping.

For the fact, Medium can pay via paypal — it’s not a big deal for you guys. But you still give a generic reply.

2 years — that’s the time you are taking to implement paypal. Truth is you don’t care.

It’s okay. It just proves the age old idea — when you are privileged, you ignore the problems of less privileged.

Regardless, thanks Medium. I hope you do more. Because you can.
